James Petter is VP International at Pure Storage, responsible for sales in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Japan. Prior to Pure, James held several leadership roles at EMC including Vice President Global Accounts and Verticals EMEA responsible for the Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, and Public Sectors. He also was the Senior Vice President, UK and Ireland, one of the largest subsidiaries at EMC. Additionally, in his 20+ years’ experience in sales, James has held management positions at Cisco, Telstra and Coca Cola. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, James served as an officer in the 2nd Royal Green Jackets for six years. He holds a BSc from the University of Surrey and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from Bristol University.
